After buying a car, it must be registered with the State Traffic Inspectorate within 10 days. This was announced on March 18 by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
"According to Article 8 of federal Law No. 283-FZ, the car owner is obliged to apply to the registration department of the State Traffic Inspectorate for registration of the vehicle within 10 days," the Interior Ministry said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
It is noted that the period of registration of the car is counted from the moment of obtaining the owner's rights to the car.
