The US aircraft carrier Gerald R. Ford, which is taking part in military operations against Iran, will head to the United States naval base on the Greek island of Crete after a fire broke out on board. This was reported on March 17 by the Reuters news agency, citing sources.
"It is expected that it [the aircraft carrier] will temporarily depart for Souda Bay on the Greek island of Crete," the publication said.
