Dmitriev suggested that the United States impose sanctions against Britain and the European Union

The United States should lift sanctions against Russia to support global markets and impose restrictions on the UK and EU countries. This opinion was expressed on March 17 by Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund.

"Perhaps the United States should impose sanctions on the UK and the EU for the lack of reciprocity and the destruction of Western civilization through immigration, as well as lift sanctions against Russia to support global energy markets?" — said in a publication on the social network X.
