Sergeant Evgeny Yaptune, as part of a unit of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, inflicted fire damage on the enemy under fire from enemy artillery and attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen in the area of the special military operation on March 18.

In the first ranks, Yaptune broke into a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). He personally destroyed two drones and eliminated three soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which contributed to the further advancement of Russian attack aircraft.

The Ministry of Defense also noted the courage and professionalism of Lieutenant Dmitry Bobrov, who led the calculation of the combat vehicle during the task of delivering fire damage to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Bobrov competently developed an attack plan, which allowed the calculation to eliminate the enemy's mortar crew and three soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
