- An administrative protocol was drawn up against the deputy in the legislative assembly of St. Petersburg.
An administrative protocol has been drawn up against Alexander Shishlov, a deputy from the Yabloko faction in the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, on charges of displaying extremist symbols. This was announced on March 17 by the joint press service of the courts of St. Petersburg.
According to the protocol cited by RBC, on May 13, 2023, Shishlov made a repost of an interview with the founder of the party, Grigory Yavlinsky, which contained references to elements of extremism without indicating that they were extremist.
Currently, Shishlov is charged under Article 20.3 of the Administrative Code (Propaganda or public display of Nazi paraphernalia or symbols, or paraphernalia or symbols of extremist organizations, or other paraphernalia or symbols, the propaganda or public display of which is prohibited by federal laws).
