Audio messages about the rules of politeness will be updated on all metro and MCC trains by the end of spring. This was announced on Tuesday, March 17, by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

According to him, the changes will affect more than 900 trains and will help to remind passengers once again about the importance of mutual respect. He added that work on improving audio information is ongoing: since 2019, a single style has been used, and since 2022, audio brand elements selected by residents have appeared before the announcements, according to the Moscow City News agency.

Previously, trains had longer messages listing the categories of passengers who needed to give up seats. Now they will be replaced by short recordings duplicating visual materials in wagons and encouraging those who find it more difficult to stand to give in, without dividing into groups.

The department stressed that the audio volume has been reduced by about a third, and the updated feed should better attract attention. Passengers will also be reminded of the basic rules of conduct: to give up seats, not to stand at the door, and to let those leaving the carriage out first.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
