Grigory Muluzyan, who was a business partner of actor Pavel Derevyanko, was found guilty of fraud on an especially large scale and sentenced to six years in prison. This was announced on March 17 by the Moscow Prosecutor's Office.

"Taking into account the position of the Presnenskaya Interdistrict Prosecutor's office, 39-year—old Grigory Muluzyan was sentenced to six years in a penal colony for committing fraud under the pretext of investing in cryptocurrency," the Telegram channel said.

It is noted that four people became victims of fraud, and the total amount of damage caused to them exceeded 120 million rubles. At the moment, the court decision has not entered into force.

In November 2023, the media reported that businessman Sergei Nikolenko had filed a police report against the actor, claiming that he had defrauded him of 1 million rubles. According to him, he concluded three loan agreements with the actor and his partner Muluzyan and, since the end of September 2022, invested the specified amount in the Bii Soul crypto company owned by Derevyanko. However, a year later, the crypto investor did not receive any profit.

Derevyanko's lawyer, Evgeny Rosenblat, said that the actor had not deceived anyone. According to him, the artist was deceived by the Nikolenko and Muluzyan involved in the case. In turn, Derevyanko said that he had sued his former partners and friends. At the same time, a criminal case on fraud was opened against Muluzyan. On November 18 last year, the Izmailovsky District Court of Moscow decided to recover more than 13 million rubles from Derevyanko and Muluzyan in payment of the debt owed to Nikolenko.
