Rocket fragments fell on the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem

Rocket fragments hit religious shrines in Jerusalem. Footage from the scene of the March 17 events is published by Izvestia.

According to correspondent Alexander Novitsky, on the afternoon of March 17, local authorities removed fragments of the rocket from the roofs of the Old City. One of the fragments fell on the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the other on the territory of the Temple Mount near the esplanade of mosques.

The published footage shows destruction and large debris. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre is closed to pilgrims. As the journalist noted, the largest fragment landed on the roof of the Church of Constantine and Elena.

The Wailing Wall Square is also closed for security reasons.
