- The Sun TV channel opens direct communication with Roscosmos cosmonauts to viewers
The SUN TV channel, together with the Institute for the Study of Childhood, Family and Upbringing, gives children a unique opportunity to ask their questions to Roscosmos cosmonauts. For the first time in the history of Russian television, children's curiosity is becoming part of a large space dialogue, and millions of viewers will see the cosmonauts' answers on the air.
The "Ask the cosmonaut" campaign started on March 6 and will last until March 26. Every viewer of the Sun TV channel can take part. It is enough to write down your question and upload it to a special page on the channel's website.
The questions can be anything: about life and work on the ISS, about scientific experiments, about what is visible from the window, or even about something more personal. The main thing is that they are sincere. The best questions will be sent to the ISS, and Roscosmos cosmonauts will record video responses to five of them directly on board the station and send the answers back to Earth.
On April 12, the day of the 65th anniversary of the first human spaceflight, the SUN will show the cosmonauts' answers on television. In addition, on April 13, millions of schoolchildren will see them in the "Conversations about important" lessons in all educational institutions in Russia.
"We are pleased to implement this project together with Roscosmos Group of Companies and Conversations about Important. At the SUN, we do everything to make children believe that nothing is impossible in life. In response, children and their parents make the "SUN" space brighter and more diverse by sending creative works to the "SUN Universe of Talents" contests, said Olga Sedysheva, Director of Special Projects and Development at the "SUN" Shopping Center.
