Athletes from the USA and Canada wanted to pick up the uniform of the Russian national team at the Games in Italy. This was announced on March 17 by two-time Paralympic champion Varvara Voronchikhina.

"Our form is amazing. Everyone wanted our uniforms, but we had to turn down Americans, Canadians, and other athletes because we wanted to come back here in them. But they took pictures with us. Maybe next time I'll be able to give them a present," Voronchikhina said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

The equipment of the Russian Paralympians from Bosco is made in red and gold tones and is a uniform with the symbolic name "Golden Heritage".

On March 16, the Kremlin highly appreciated the performance of Russian athletes at the Paralympics in Italy. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called him brilliant. The Russian national team took the third overall place, winning five gold, two silver and three bronze medals. At the Games, Russians performed with the national flag and anthem for the first time since 2014.

Before that, on March 10, Peskov noted that the successes of Russian athletes at the Paralympic Games in Italy are a reason for pride for the whole of Russia. He also noted the importance of the fact that the Russian national anthem was played at the award ceremony on March 9 for the first time in 12 years.
