Workers who died due to poisoning by methane vapors in a collector in the Samara region were testing hydraulic networks. This was announced on March 17 by a source of Izvestia.

"They (the dead. — Ed.) conducted hydraulic tests of water networks," the source explained.

According to him, three men were found in a well chamber on the territory of the enterprise in Novokuibyshevsk.

On the same day, a source from Izvestia reported that people in the Samara region had died due to poisoning by methane vapors in a sewer.
