Attacks by the United States and Israel on the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran damaged 108 historical monuments, 60 of which were located in Tehran. This was reported on Tuesday, March 17, by the Tamsim news agency, citing a statement from the Iranian Ministry of Culture.
"The number of damaged historical and cultural monuments as a result of recent military attacks by the United States and the Zionist regime has reached 108 sites in various regions of Iran," the Telegram channel said.
It is emphasized that, following Tehran, the largest number of destructions occurred in Isfahan and Iranian Kurdistan. 19 and 12 facilities were damaged there, respectively. The report noted that such actions violate the Hague Convention of 1954, and also threaten the memory of mankind.
