The construction of the right bypass tunnel has been completed at Dostoevskaya station on the Koltsevaya Metro Line, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in his channel in the MAX messenger. The overall readiness of the station, taking into account mining operations, is 44%.

"This station is one of the most complex projects in the Moscow metro. Construction is underway in the city center, where there is dense construction above, and underground there is abundant water supply and a lot of utilities," Sobyanin wrote.

Earlier, the builders completed the left bypass tunnel. Both tunnels will allow to restart train traffic and not to close the existing line during the construction of the station. The work was carried out by mining due to the proximity to the existing metro facilities, in some areas it was necessary to work manually using small-scale mechanization tools, including mini-robots.

The station will be located between Novoslobodskaya and Prospekt Mira. Two lobbies have been designed: an underground one under Durova Street at the intersection with Delegatskaya Street and an above—ground one at the intersection of Durova Street and Olympic Avenue. The above-ground lobby will be connected to the station by an underground passage with walkways.

The architectural concept of the Dostoevskaya platform was approved earlier. The interiors of the station will be "bright and solemn", it is planned to create expressive pillars, a raised ceiling and a patterned stone floor, Sobyanin said.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
