An ambulance driver was injured in a UAV attack in the Zaporizhia region.
The ambulance driver was moderately injured as a result of an attack by Ukrainian drones on the territory of the central district hospital in the city of Vasilevka, Zaporizhia region. This was announced on March 17 by the regional Ministry of Health.
"The situation in Vasilyevka remains tense: the territory of the central district hospital continues to be under attack by UAVs. An ambulance driver was injured in one of the attacks," the ministry said on the MAX messenger.
It is specified that the victim received the necessary medical assistance.
On the same day, the air defense forces intercepted 12 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the territory of Russia in two hours. It was clarified that six vehicles were shot down in the sky over the Leningrad region, two over the territory of the Krasnodar Territory and one each over the Bryansk, Smolensk, Kostroma regions, as well as over the waters of the Sea of Azov.
On February 11, two paramedics and an ambulance driver were injured in an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the LPR. It was reported that as a result of the impact, windows in the car were broken, fragments injured people inside the car.
