In September 2026, the Northern Capital will once again welcome participants and guests of the St. Petersburg International Forum of United Cultures. The organizers will be the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Administration of St. Petersburg.
"The St. Petersburg International Forum of United Cultures is, without exaggeration, a unique discussion platform where representatives of different countries, nationalities and professions meet. In 2026, the forum will be held from 24 to 26 September. I am sure that working together will allow the delegates to exchange experiences and discuss trends in the development of the modern cultural environment. The forum's work will result in new international and intersectoral projects that meet the challenges of our time and strengthen a unified cultural space," said Tatyana Golikova, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.
Cultural and artistic figures, officials, business representatives, experts and journalists will become guests and participants of the forum. The event will discuss issues of culture formation, the role of historical heritage, the relationship between culture and business, the impact of artificial intelligence on various social aspects and its role in modern culture and the preservation of cultural heritage.
"In the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, the holding of the XII St. Petersburg International Forum of United Cultures will allow us to talk at a high level about plans to implement programs aimed at preserving cultural diversity and traditions, exchange experiences with representatives of friendly countries about ways to preserve the identity of cultures, traditions and worldviews, as well as measures to counter threats of extinction of small cultures. and the promotion of the principles of justice and equality in relations between peoples. Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stressed in his speeches that national culture can develop and enrich itself only through interaction with other cultures. Our country was originally formed as a multinational, and it was this priceless gift that determined its unique cultural palette and the status of a power truly great for its art, science, and literature," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation.
Official delegations from 50 countries and senior officials of 6 international organizations participated in the Forum in 2025. Cultural figures and government representatives participated in discussions on all major areas of art: museum, theater, cinema, music, and media.

The St. Petersburg International Forum of United Cultures has been held since 2012. It has established itself as a platform for cooperation in the field of culture and art, as well as an open and meaningful discussion of issues arising as the modern cultural environment develops.
