Owners of land plots in the Moscow region should remove Sosnovsky hogweed on their territory, as individuals face a fine of 5,000 rubles for its growth, officials up to 50,000 rubles, and legal entities up to 1 million rubles. This was announced on March 17 by Sergey Kerselyan, Chairman of the Moscow State Duma Committee on Agrarian Policy and Consumer Market.

"In accordance with the Administrative Code of the Moscow region, failure to take measures to remove Sosnovsky hogweed from land plots entails a warning or the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of 5 thousand rubles; on officials — from 20 thousand to 50 thousand rubles; on legal entities — from 150 thousand to 1 million rubles," he said in an interview. from TASS.
