The head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, will oversee the investigation of the case in which an 11-year-old boy from Murmansk acts as a victim. The uncollected snow fell on him from the roof of the house.

Bastrykin is waiting for a report on the circumstances of the incident, writes the Bi-port news agency.

In the middle of March, snow came off the roof of an apartment building. A schoolboy was injured by falling snow. A criminal case has been opened into the provision of services that do not meet the safety requirements of people.

On February 28, the Moscow Region Prosecutor's Office reported that an 11-year-old boy died in Podolsk after the driver of a snowplow filled in a snowdrift in which the child had dug a tunnel. The investigators opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 216 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of safety rules during work, resulting in the death of a person").
