A man died when the debris of a downed ballistic missile fell in Abu Dhabi.

A Pakistani citizen was killed when debris was intercepted by an air defense system United Arab Emirates (UAE) ballistic missile aimed at Abu Dhabi. This was announced on March 17 by the press service of the city administration.

"The competent authorities of the emirate of Abu Dhabi responded to an incident caused by falling fragments <...> after a ballistic missile was intercepted by an air defense system, resulting in the death of a Pakistani citizen," a statement on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

As added in the "Newspaper.Ru", the incident was recorded in the Beni Yas district. Abu Dhabi authorities urged citizens to trust only official sources of information and avoid spreading fakes and rumors.
