A hacker has committed a massive hacking of surveillance cameras throughout Ukraine
A Russian hacker, known under the pseudonym PalachPro, committed a massive hacking of video surveillance systems that operated on the territory of Ukraine. He told RIA Novosti about this on March 17.
"I have compromised the cameras of outdoor and hidden surveillance in real time. Access to more than six thousand administrative, military and urban devices became available as a result of months of preparation and implementation of the special operation," PalachPro said.
The data obtained, according to the agency's interlocutor, can contribute to tracking the location of both weapons and soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The materials, according to the man, will also reveal the movements of representatives of Ukrainian law enforcement and administrative authorities.
As part of the operation, access to cameras located in all regions of the country and areas located near the line of contact was unblocked.
