The PSB told about the support of cultural and historical projects

The PSB supports creative industries by following an approach that combines patronage in the field of historical and patriotic cinema with the promotion of national heroes and traditional values. This was stated by Vera Podguzova, Senior Vice President, Director of External Relations at PSB.

"We have chosen a mission to support the heroes in various directions. It is the integration of this topic into youth, children's and family content that is very important, which is why we support various projects aimed at educating our younger generation," Podguzova said, speaking at the plenary session "Children's and Family Content as a national priority. The role of cinema in Shaping values and the future generation" at the Spirit of Fire Film Debut Festival in Khanty-Mansiysk.

Among the iconic paintings supported by the PSB, the senior vice president of the bank named the feature film "Kalashnikov" and the animated film "Suvorov. A great journey." In addition, films about jumper Valeria Brumel and football player Andrey Borovsky have been created with the bank's participation. The bank also has projects dedicated to the topic of financial literacy and the history of the formation of the monetary system in Russia.

In this context, Podguzova recalled the signing in 2025 of a memorandum on investments in the construction of a cultural and information cluster based on the Yalta Film Studio, as well as support for the Soul of Russia project, which hosts film screenings in the regions.

"We support projects focused on history and culture, on the images of national heroes. Through financial and educational programs and the preservation of identity, we participate in initiatives that work for the future of the country. This is our conscious position as a financial institution responsible for the development of the country," concluded the Senior Vice President of the PSB.
