Six car brands changed car prices in Russia in early March
From March 1 to March 15, prices for new cars have changed for six brands officially represented on the Russian market, according to the analytical agency Autostat. Three brands have recorded price increases.
So, the Moskvich automobile plant increased the prices of the crossover with the 3 index. In the Standard Plus version, this model with a manual transmission has become more expensive by 58 thousand rubles, and in the same configuration with a CVT — by 64 thousand rubles. In the Comfort version, the crossover has increased in price at a price of 65 thousand rubles. Another domestic brand, Tenet, has increased prices for T4 and T8 crossovers by 20 thousand rubles in the "Line" version.
In addition, BAIC raised the prices of three of its models — the U5 Plus (+61 thousand rubles), the BJ60 SUV (+100 thousand rubles) and the X55 crossover (+100-150 thousand rubles).
Three brands have lowered their prices. The Omoda C7 crossover in all trim levels fell by 230 thousand rubles, and the Exeed RX crossover in the Urban configuration lost 300 thousand rubles in price. Finally, the GAC M8 minivan in the GX version became cheaper by 250 thousand rubles, and in the GX Premium version — by 300 thousand rubles.
Earlier, on March 5, it was reported that following the results of the final month of winter, the average cost of a new car from a Russian manufacturer dropped to 1.99 million rubles. In February, the average cost of a new domestic car decreased by 2%. At the same time, the average price of the new model, officially presented on the market of Chinese brands, has not changed and amounted to 3.94 million rubles.
