A criminal case has been opened into an accident involving a passenger bus in the Aleksinsky district of the Tula region. The article is "Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements."
TSN24 clarifies that the accident occurred on Monday morning, March 16, in the village of Manshino. The bus, driven by a 71-year-old driver, hit a KAMAZ truck with a semi-trailer parked at the curb. As a result, a 46-year-old passenger was killed, and three passengers were hospitalized with injuries.
Investigators interrogate witnesses and appoint forensic examinations. Traffic police officers are working at the scene of the accident.
The prosecutor's office reports that 35 people were on the bus at the time of the accident. The supervisory authority is overseeing the investigation.
Earlier, on March 4, a passenger car collided with a truck on the M-2 "Crimea" highway in the Tula region. Two people died. The driver of the Lada Samara car drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a truck. The 21-year-old driver of the car and his 19-year-old passenger died on the spot.
