Russia and China will organize a case championship on peaceful space of the future

As part of the cross-Years of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the field of education, the student case championship "Peaceful Space of the Future" will be held. The organizers are VTB Education and Harbin Polytechnic University.

The case championship, which will be held in a remote format, will consist of two rounds. The first one starts on March 30, and the second one starts on April 27. The face-to-face event for the winning teams will take place on May 26 in Blagoveshchensk.The winners will visit the Vostochny Cosmodrome and Heihe University.

VTB said that the event is aimed at training a new generation of specialists capable of working in the face of global challenges and intercultural integration. The participants will have to form a project team from representatives of the two countries and jointly solve the task.

"Russia and China have similar ambitions in space — we are forming a common culture of managing complex systems, where trust and compatibility of standards mean no less than engineering solutions. The VTB Education Case Study is a model of real international design," said Olga Dergunova, Senior Vice President of VTB, Head of VTB Education, Director of the St. Petersburg State University Graduate School of Management.

Registration of participants will open on March 16 and will last until March 29. Students, undergraduates, and postgraduates, as well as young professionals, are invited to participate.

The academic partners of the championship from the Russian side will be the St. Petersburg State University Graduate School of Management and Amur State University.
