Joan Laporta was re-elected president of the Catalan football club FC Barcelona with 68.18% of the vote. The relevant information was posted on the team's official website on March 16.

"Joan Laporta and Estruch will remain president of FC Barcelona. This decision was made by the board members at Sunday's elections, supporting the candidacy of Defender of El Barca with 32,934 votes, which is 68.18% of the total," the statement said.

It is noted that Laporta's rival in the election, Victor Font— won 29.78% of the vote. Laporta will lead Barcelona for the fourth time, having previously won the 2003, 2010 and 2021 elections.

"This is a convincing result, and it gives us great strength. He makes us invincible," Laporta commented on the voting results.
