Russian animation artist Konstantin Bronzit again did not receive the Oscar in the category "Best Animated Short Film". This became known on March 15 following the award ceremony in Los Angeles.

Bronzit was nominated for an award for the cartoon "Three Sisters". This is the third time that his work has been among the nominees for the prestigious award. The winners in this category were Canadian directors Chris Lavis and Maciek Shcherbowski. They received the award for the animated short film "The Girl who Cried Pearls."

On February 9, Bronzit announced that he has a chance of winning after his work was nominated for an Oscar. The animation artist also drew attention to the fact that in 2026, the nomination includes diverse animated films, each of which has both advantages and certain disadvantages.
