BPS operators destroyed 16 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region

The operators of the FPV fighter units of the unmanned Systems Forces (UAVs) of the 27th separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 1st Guards Tank Army as part of the Zapad group of forces destroyed 16 heavy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the hexa and quadcopter type units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kharkiv region. The relevant footage is published by the Russian Defense Ministry on March 16.

The objective control images obtained in real time show how the calculations of the FPV drones of the BPS units successfully neutralize 16 Ukrainian drones by aerial ramming.

The air defense unmanned aerial vehicles, in close cooperation with electronic warfare (EW) units, air surveillance posts and units of the Zapad group of forces, continue continuous round-the-clock monitoring and suppression of enemy UAVs within their area of responsibility.

The new tactic makes it possible to avoid the detonation of army equipment by mines and land mines.

On March 15, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the operators of attack UAVs of the BPS troops of the Vostok group of forces had eliminated drones and communication antennas of Ukrainian militants in the Zaporizhia region. Having received the coordinates, the operators were able to detect and destroy enemy objects on their flight routes. In addition, enemy UAV control antennas were detected and eliminated in this area by pinpoint strikes.
