Nebenzia cited the reason for the UN's refusal to participate in the negotiations on Ukraine

The United Nations (UN) does not participate in negotiations on the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine because of its bias and double standards. This was announced on March 15 by Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya.

"Currently, the UN is not involved in these negotiations, and its impartiality and neutrality remain in question. We observe double standards in the work of the secretariat. <...> A selective approach undermines the credibility of the Organization as an objective arbitrator in international affairs," Nebenzia said in an interview with the Serbian newspaper Politika.
