Russian athletes marched with the country's flag at the closing ceremony of the Paralympics

At the closing ceremony of the Paralympic Games in Italy, Russian athletes marched as part of a parade of participants, carrying the national flag. This was reported by TASS on March 15.

"Alpine skier Varvara Voronchikhina and skier Ivan Golubkov acted as flag bearers. All six Russian athletes admitted to the Paralympics are present at the ceremony. In addition to Voronchikhina and Golubkov, they are skier Anastasia Bagiyan, alpine skier Alexey Bugaev, snowboarders Dmitry Fadeev and Monzer Philippe Shebbo," the message says.

The national team of Russian athletes took the third place in the medal standings.
