Yaroslav Datsik, the son of Russian fighter Vyacheslav Datsik, died in a special military operation zone. This was reported on March 15 by the newspaper Sport-Express, citing sources.

Yaroslav died as a result of an FPV drone attack during a combat mission in the Zaporozhye area. According to an eyewitness, Yaroslav and another fighter did not have time to take cover and found themselves in an open area.

He was 21 years old. In February 2024, he signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense and went to his home defense zone with his father. Both joined the 31st Separate Guards Airborne Assault Brigade and were stationed in Ulyanovsk. Prior to participating in the special operation, Yaroslav helped his father with training and led a normal life.

Vyacheslav Datsik is a famous Russian mixed martial arts fighter and boxer, also known under the pseudonym Red Tarzan. He has won victories over such fighters as Andrei Orlovsky, Alexander Emelianenko and Antonio Bigfoot Silva.
