Russian actor, stuntman and writer Alexander Karin died on March 13 at the age of 73. This was announced on March 15 on the official page of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation in the Telegram channel.

"Alexander Karin, a member of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, actor, stuntman, and writer, has passed away," the statement said.

Alexander Karin was born in Kemerovo in 1952. In 1977, he graduated from the Shchepkin Higher Technical University, and in 1989, he graduated from the Higher Courses of Directors and Screenwriters. From 1978 to 1989, he worked in films as an actor, stuntman and stunt director.

Karin became widely known for his roles in films such as "Squadron of Flying Hussars", "Yaroslav the Wise", "Young Russia", "Primordial Russia" and "Peter the Great".

After completing his acting career, he continued to be an important figure in the film industry, being a member of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia and two writers' unions.
