The pause in negotiations on the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine has come due to a change in US priorities. This was announced on March 15 by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.

"In the negotiations (on Ukraine. — Ed.) there was a pause. The Americans have other priorities, and this is understandable," Peskov said in a commentary to the Financial Times newspaper.
