Peskov announced the visit of the French representative to the Russian Federation for contacts on Ukraine

A representative of the French authorities came to Russia for contacts on Ukraine, but Moscow did not hear positive signals from him about the end of the conflict. This was stated on March 15 by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, in an interview with the Financial Times newspaper.

"The Europeans do not want to help the peace process. When the French representative arrived, he did not bring any positive signals with him. Therefore, he really had nothing good to hear," Peskov said.

He stressed that Russia remains open to a diplomatic settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.
