Trump allowed the death of Iran's new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei
US President Donald Trump has expressed doubts that Iran's new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is alive. He stated this in an interview with NBC News on March 15.
"I do not know if he is alive at all. So far, no one has been able to show it. I've heard that he's dead. If he's alive, then he should do something very reasonable for his country, namely surrender," he said.
Trump noted that he was not ready to conclude a deal to end the conflict, despite the willingness of the Iranian side to make concessions. He stated that the proposed conditions were not good enough, but did not specify what conditions he was talking about.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said on March 14 that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, Mojtaba Khamenei, was fulfilling his duties, and everything was fine with him. He also denied claims that Iranian officials were allegedly in shelters.
Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth said on March 13 that the US military was aware of the injury of Iran's new supreme Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei. According to him, the new supreme leader of Iran is allegedly "wounded and disfigured."
