Operators of attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the troops of the unmanned systems (UAVs) of the Vostok group of forces have eliminated the UAVs and communication antennas of the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Zaporizhia region. This was announced on March 15 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
It is specified that the operators of reconnaissance drones recorded the activity of UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of one of the settlements in the area of the special operation (SVO). Heavy hexacopters used by the enemy for attacks were spotted in the airspace of the Zaporizhia region.
The ministry noted that the operators of the attack drones, having received the coordinates, were able to detect and destroy enemy objects on their flight routes. In addition, enemy UAV control antennas were detected and eliminated in this area by pinpoint strikes.
As noted in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, domestic means of communication are used to coordinate the actions of UAV calculations, which can work stably in various conditions.
On March 13, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the calculation of the Scat-350M reconnaissance UAV of the Center group of forces ensured the correction of an air strike using FAB-250 aerial bombs equipped with a universal planning and correction module (UMPC) in the Dnepropetrovsk area of its territory. It is specified that the calculation provided support and correction of the destruction of the target. As a result of the joint actions of the BPS and aviation units, a large stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed.
