The State Duma announced the indexation of military pensions from October 1.

Starting from October 1, military pensions will be indexed in Russia, the indexation coefficient has already been established, but the government retains the possibility of adjusting it depending on the economic situation and the inflation rate. This was announced on March 15 by Yaroslav Nilov, head of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs.

"Military pensions, they have their own indexation procedure, it depends on the growth of the salary. Accordingly, on October 1, military pensions will also be indexed," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

He recalled that in September last year, the Russian government increased the indexation coefficient by decree, which led to an increase in pensions above the planned level.
