Fraudsters, posing as volunteers of the LizaAlert search and rescue squad, contact the relatives of the missing servicemen and allegedly offer assistance in their search. This was announced on March 14 by representatives of the detachment.
"In a number of cases of appeals about situations with scammers, it was about those people who do not get in touch in the zone of a special military operation. We would like to emphasize that the LizaAlert detachment does not search for military personnel. Specialized government agencies are dealing with such issues," the detachment told RIA Novosti.
