In Turkey, a missing boy was found seven years later in an abandoned house.
In Turkey, law enforcement agencies have rescued an abducted boy who had not been released from his home for seven years. This was announced on March 14 by the Haberler portal.
"In Bursa, seven years later, an eight-year-old [boy] was found in a dilapidated house after a police operation. A special group that followed his grandmother step by step rescued the child, who was reportedly hidden in the house for years without going outside, in a weakened state among piles of garbage and clothes," the publication says.
According to the agency, the boy was abducted by his father after a quarrel with his mother. He handed the child over to his parents, who hid him and did not take him out of the house for seven years. It is specified that a few years after the abduction, the boy's father died of a heart attack.
According to the agency, the search for the missing child began after the father's parents stopped coming to court sessions. The police observed the child's grandmother, after which they discovered an abandoned house in which the boy was hiding.
