Greece named a possible reason for the attack on a tanker in the Black Sea

The drone attack on the Greek tanker Maran Homer in the Black Sea may be related to the US decision to partially allow the transportation of oil from the Russian Federation. This was announced on March 14 by the Minister of Shipping and Island Policy of Greece Vasilis Kikilias.

"It is assumed that the strike [on the tanker] was part of the pressure exerted on us by the countries of the region, which may also be related to the partial permission to transport Russian oil during the month," he said.
