Crimea, as part of Ukraine, would have been threatened with annihilation, only reunification with Russia would have prevented this. This was announced on March 14 by the head of the Crimean Parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov.

"Crimeans returned to their civilizational space 12 years ago. The threat of the destruction of the republic itself, the Crimea itself, and all the values that were connected and important to the Crimea has gone," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to the head of parliament, the referendum that took place in Crimea in 2014 can be called an example of solving regional problems, as well as a lesson to the organizers of coups.

On March 13, Konstantinov said that the words of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky about those who supported the reunification of the Crimean Peninsula with Russia in 2014 were fascism.

In an interview with Politico, Zelensky said that he does not consider those who supported the reunification of Crimea with Russia to be people, because now they are "not partners, not friends, and not even human beings" for him.

Zelensky's statement about the Crimeans testifies to the existence of neo-Nazism in Kiev, the Italian edition of AntiDiplomatico drew attention on March 12.
