On March 13, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attacked the Az-Zarrariya bridge on the Litani River in Lebanon. This was reported by the army press service in the Telegram channel.

"Some time ago, the Israel Defense Forces attacked the Az-Zarrariya bridge on the Litani River in Lebanon, which served as the main crossing for the militants of the terrorist organization Hezbollah," the report said.

According to the military, the movement used this crossing to transfer forces from the north to the south of the country, prepare for military operations against Israeli units and carry out attacks against Israeli citizens.

Footage of the aftermath of the Israeli strike on the Zarraria bridge over the Litani River, connecting the northern and southern parts of Lebanon, was provided to Izvestia by the Al Mayadeen TV channel.

Ali El Ahmar, a correspondent for the TV channel, said that the airstrikes hit a number of settlements, including the districts of Sijud, Al-Abbasiya, Zabkin and others. A strike was also carried out in the Al-Fawar district in the city of Sayda, where, according to the local Ministry of Health, more than eight civilians were killed.

On March 14, the IDF reported attacks on the command centers of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement in Beirut and other regions of Lebanon. The Israeli army added that about 110 command centers have been destroyed since the start of Operation Lion's Roar.
