The highest demand for cash withdrawals among all regions of Russia was recorded in the North Caucasus, including Chechnya, Ingushetia and Dagestan. This was confirmed on March 14 by statistics from the Bank of Russia (CBR).

"In the Chechen Republic, citizens used cash more often than in other regions. On average, one resident of the republic needed almost 22 thousand rubles in cash per month. Residents of Ingushetia needed a little less — about 14.5 thousand rubles," RIA Novosti cites statistics.
