The State Duma called the conditions for shutting off heating in homes
Central heating in apartment buildings is turned off after the average daily outdoor air temperature exceeds +8 degrees for five consecutive days, and even in the event of an abnormal heat wave, the heating will not be turned off until the specified temperature condition is met. This was announced on March 14 by Alexander Aksenenko, deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Communal Services.
"According to the law, heat supply to high—rise buildings with a centralized heating system stops when the average daily temperature outside stays above +8 degrees for five days," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
