Russians were reminded of the banks' right to set fees for cash transactions
Banknotes of the Bank of Russia (banknotes and coins) are required to be accepted at face value throughout the Russian Federation, which guarantees their acceptance in all types of transactions, including exchange, transfers and crediting to accounts. This was announced on March 14 by the fintech platform and the credit institution.
"Credit organizations that provide cash services are required to exchange banknotes and coins. It is impossible to refuse a client, although the bank has the right to set a conversion fee — this is not prohibited by the regulator," Denis Astafyev, founder of the SharesPro fintech platform, told RIA Novosti.
