The lawyer named the number of days off remaining in 2026.
Russians will rest for another 89 days in 2026. This was announced on March 14 by Alexander Yuzhalin, head of the legal practice at SuperJob.
"At the moment, taking into account the past, there are still 204 working days and 89 days off," the lawyer said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Svetlana Bessarab, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, said on March 9 that Russians were waiting for the next long weekend due to the May holidays, and large shortened working weeks were expected three times in the second quarter.
In 2026, Russians expect five long weekend periods of three days in a row — in February, March, May and June. It was also noted that November 4 will be a day off. The next New Year holidays, according to preliminary data, will be held from December 31, 2026 to January 10, 2027.
