Russian skiers Anastasia Bagiyan and Ivan Golubkov will take part in the relay at the Paralympic Games in Italy. Pavel Rozhkov, President of the Russian Paralympic Committee (RPC), announced this on March 13.

"Despite the fact that our team is not competing at the Paralympics in full, the coaching council has decided on the participation of Ivan Golubkov and Anastasia Baghiyan in the relay," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

The relay race will be held on Saturday, March 14th. The teams should consist of four people.

On March 11, Baghiyan won the 10 km split start race and brought the Russian national team the fourth gold medal at the Paralympic Games in Italy. Baghiyan competed in the NS1 class (athletes with visual impairment) and covered the distance in 29 minutes and 39.7 seconds.
