On March 13, Polish leader Karol Nawrocki demanded reparations from Germany in order to purchase weapons.

"If there is such concern about the development of the Polish armed forces, then why not implement a plan in which Germany begins to pay reparations to Poland," he said during a meeting with voters.

According to Navrotsky, the process of paying reparations can begin precisely with German investments in Polish weapons.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced on March 12 that Navrotsky had decided to veto the law on Warsaw receiving a loan for the purchase of weapons under the SAFE program for the militarization of the European Union.
