Notary Alexander Fedorchenko's office was searched in Moscow

The capital's notary, Alexander Fedorchenko, was searched. This was announced on March 13 by a source of Izvestia.

"At the reception, General Yarosh informed us that investigative actions were being carried out against Fedorchenko, but he did not specify in which case or when exactly they took place," said Alexander Zorin, lawyer for the victim Tatiana Varivonchik.

Earlier, the Investigative Committee (IC) drew attention to a high-profile transaction involving notary Alexander Fedorchenko, as a result of which Nikolai Kizyun, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War (WWII), suffered. It turned out that the documents signed by the veteran turned out to be a waiver of the inheritance, which included three apartments, a house, a car and bank accounts. The organizer of this fraud was Fedorchenko. At the same time, the victim himself did not realize the legal consequences of signing the documents, which, according to the investigation, were substituted.

Fedorchenko's last name appeared in a number of questionable real estate transactions. Some of them became the subject of attention of law enforcement agencies, and criminal cases were initiated against individual participants. However, the notary himself managed to avoid responsibility for a long time.

Fedorchenko, who was involved in dozens of questionable real estate transactions, could not be held accountable on September 12, 2025.

On September 18, 2025, the UK recognized Kizyun as a victim in a criminal case of fraud involving a notary. The veteran's lawyer added that Fedorchenko's inaction led to the fact that the veteran's signature was fraudulently obtained and a deed of gift for his housing was issued.

On October 7, 2025, lawyer Alexander Zorin informed Izvestia that the Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow had satisfied the veteran's claim. He clarified that the court recognized the veteran as accepting the inheritance. At the same time, the defendants returned Kizyun's money voluntarily.
