The Moscow Arbitration Court has dismissed a claim for the recovery of 2.09 million rubles from the Jam music publishing house. This is evidenced by the relevant materials, which were reviewed by Izvestia on March 13.

The lawsuit was filed by composer Leonid Velichkovsky. Earlier, he stated about the debt of the Jam publishing house, which is related to the use of musical works.

Prior to this, the arbitration court had already considered disputes between the parties, including those related to songs performed by singer Lada Dance (real name Lada Volkova) and the Strelka musical group.

On September 18, Victoria Oleinikova, the daughter of Alexander Shishinin, the founder of the Combination group, who was killed in 1993, demanded that the rights to 16 of the band's musical works be recognized for her, including the hit American boy and Russian girl. The defendants in the case were the Russian Society of Authors (RAO), the Jam publishing house and composer Vitaly Okorokov.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
