- The court rejected the request for a second psychological examination for Stas Namin's stepson
The Moscow Regional Court rejected the request of Roman Tkachenko, the stepson of rock musician Stas Namin (real name - Anastas Mikoyan), to conduct a second psychiatric examination. This was announced on March 13 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.
It is specified that Tkachenko is accused of murdering his brother and grandmother. The defense requested a repeat inpatient comprehensive psychological and psychiatric examination, citing the defendant's split personality.
A correspondent for Izvestia reported earlier that day that Tkachenko's defense had stated that the man may suffer from a split personality and had asked for a second examination. According to the lawyer, the man allegedly has been communicating with his "second self" for many years and has experienced at least ten concussions. At the same time, the witnesses who spoke earlier in the case described the man as a kind and sympathetic person without any oddities.
In December 2025, it was noted that Tkachenko's arrest was extended in the case of the murder of his grandmother and brother until April 1 of this year. At the same time, Tkachenko's defense insisted on a milder measure of restraint, unrelated to detention, due to the psychological state of the defendant.
The bodies of Namin's mother-in-law and his 30-year-old son Artyom with multiple stab wounds were found on the night of October 19, 2023 in their house in Kryukovo. It was noted that a dispute arose between the relatives over the sale of the house. During the conflict, the grandson killed his grandmother, after which he called his 30-year-old brother, confessed to what he had done, and when he arrived at the scene, the man dealt with him. Then the criminal called the police and reported what he had done. The suspect was promptly detained.
