Sergeant Berezin destroyed a swarm of APU drones with small arms fire

Sergeant Sergey Berezin personally destroyed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of a special military operation. This was announced on March 14 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

Berezin, the commander of the motorized rifle platoon, carried out combat missions to repel an attack by enemy attack UAVs in one of the sections of the tactical direction of his military. So, the sergeant opened fire with small arms and destroyed enemy drones, preventing the death of his comrades.

Thanks to Berezin's professional skills and courage, the company's assault groups occupied advantageous positions and completed the combat mission without loss of personnel.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the combat skills of Corporal Erdeni Mandalov, who carried out the supply of ammunition and the rotation of personnel to the positions of artillery crews.

During the execution of the combat mission, Mandalov was attacked by an APU UAV. Showing restraint and relying on the acquired experience, the serviceman competently controlled the vehicle, maneuvered in a timely manner and each time brought the equipment out from under attack, avoiding defeat.

Thanks to Mandalov's courage and professionalism, the delivery of ammunition to the positions of artillery crews and the rotation of military personnel was carried out without losses.

On March 12, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that Guard Corporal Sergei Voynov, performing a combat mission to conduct aerial reconnaissance and adjust artillery fire, promptly noticed the movement of enemy manpower along the forest belt in the area of his operation. Voynov promptly transmitted the coordinates of the identified targets of the AFU militants and adjusted the artillery fire. The ministry also noted the combat skills of Guard Corporal Kirill Feoktistov, who performed the combat mission of installing a radio station repeater necessary for operational control of advanced units during the offensive.
